You know I saw SG's post last night, thought he knows something, then I just brushed it off. After reading your post, now I know I wasn't crazy to think it. Yo Sound Guy what is going on? MOD.

Where do we start with this E.C.W. TV show Week #2?
First let’s start with the positives, since some people think we’re just being negative to be negative.
-Overall this week’s show was better than least week’s show, as it seemed to flow better; it should continue to improve as time goes on. Keyword is “should”.
-We liked the improved the lighting by taking away lighting to try and give it a smaller arena type feel, like in the old days of wrestling, where just the ring area was lit during the match, not the whole arena.
-They actually did some vignettes to tell the story of the nights show. The tarot card reader (Shelly Martinez) may actually be a good character, with some development. Her outfit was perfect for the not-so-subtle t & a segment.
-They did something the old E.C.W. would do in the parody of Nacho Libre with their version “Macho Libre”. We enjoyed it a lot!
-Booking is trying to get over that Big Show is a monster and Tommy Dreamer always seems to fight the fight he can’t win. Take the little train that could as a comparison. The hill is big to climb, but Tommy has heart, E.C.W. heart.
-Kelly seemed to be a little more natural and comfortable this week.
-The constant E.C.W / W.W.E. storyline works, say what you will. It’s at least exposing the brands together, by cross promoting matches. Plus for new fans unfamiliar with E.C.W and their talent, they can at least recognize the W.W.E. guys an associate them with the action must be good if these guys are wrestling. I’m not a W.W.E. fan, but business is business!

Now for the stuff you wanted us to say about it... ------
Now let’s be blunt… Here’s the negativity portion to get your panties in a ruffle concerning ECW TV Week #2.
-After the show was over, we didn’t feel completely robbed of an hour like last week, but we were still left unfilled with this work in progress called, E.C.W.
-It all started with the tarot card reader basically just updating the viewers on the latest happenings. Not bad, but it needs to be better. Book something with substance, something interesting.
-E.C.W. was trying to give their fans a “wrestling” match to start things off with Sabu vs. Mamaluke. Is it us or is Sabu being over exposed. I don’t remember him being used so much back then (for whatever reasons). Thus, every time he would have an appearance it made him and his appearance all the more special. At this rate Sabu is headed for retirement quickly.
-The pop for Cena shows he’s a certified star in the crowd’s eyes. The segment in the “back” with Cena challenging Sabu was unrealistic and sucked. It should’ve been an all out ass kicking. And since when does Sabu talk? This is not E.C.W. everyone, this is RAW Part 2. The whole segment was horrible. Here you have the badest wrestlers (supposedly) and they let one guy punk them out. Back in the day you would try to take out the “star” before he would make it to the big show. These guys are rebels?
-Oh and the Big Show / Tommy Dreamer angle… yawn. We’ve been down this avenue before. It’s the poor Tommy Dreamer angle. Who care’s about you or being “hardcore” or “extreme”.
-And is it me or E.C.W. calling their locker room rebels gay or what? Move over young Skywalker. This Sci-thing is ridiculous!
-And to the vampire guy, bite someone already! Do something except looking at the venues sign outside.
-Will someone get that Kelly girl some stripping lessons? The gratuitous t & a segment are horrendous! By the way how the f**k can WWE get away with this stripper shit with kids in the audience? It’s only a matter of time before the parents network starts on them… AGAIN. Be responsible about your t & a already!
-Tazz and Styles really sound like WWE announcers, which is good, but this is supposed to be E.C.W. The graphics are nice and polished (maybe too polished) and are also very W.W.E. like.
-The Sandman looks disturbed to be doing what he’s doing in the new E.C.W. He should be happy to be collecting a paycheck and enjoy being on National TV. I hope he’s not mad about his role, but he’s being utilized the best way possible by maximizing his positives, or at least trying to. His entrance blows anymore, they could’ve made a closer song to Metallica for him, he bangs the can on his head, he bleeds, than canes some poor loser. I bet he thinks he should be wrestling and on TV more. You shouldn’t be Sandman!
-While the whole E.C.W. / W.W.E. angles works but it seems it’s only a matter of time before we see DX show up! Now that would be funny!
-Paul Heyman seems to have lost control over his vision (unfortunately) and now must be tortured with this W.W.E. brand of E.C.W. I know if I was him it would be killing me to this crap.
-Can we shill any more W.W.E. and E.C.W books and merchandise during the show?
-E.C.W. Rebels are the new breed unleashed? Are you f**kin kiddin me man? That stuff is crap! Whoever wrote that thinks they’re a genius needs to be fired immediately (here it was probably Vince McMahon). This E.C.W. is really what the old E.C.W was against! I don’t know how long it will last. I’m sure the ratings decent, since there is no other wrestling on and people like me gave them another shot. But I predict it to slip and continue slipping as time winds on.
We write this stuff because we truly do care about the state of Professional Wrestling, more or less the popularity of wrestling. Foolish of us for hoping that E.C.W would the wrestling cycle where business takes an uphill swing for EVERYBODY, which would also include DWOW. If E.C.W did great… we would all do better. So to answer all the emails and hate mail, we write because of our frustrations for the business to pick up, so we can all do better.

You forgot to mention how HORRIBLE Rob Van Dam's promo was. He's the G.I. Ho promo cutter for E.C.W. He can't speak well it seems!

That is whoever wrote up the show, because I just read Dave Scherer report on PWInsider and both the pros and cons were pretty much the same! Kudos to the DWOW staffers who wrote this piece up. You guys aren't that stupid after all. lol SG

Enjoyed the ECW show on Tuesday, enjoyed Raw on Monday, and enjoy DWOW on demand. Smackdown on the other hand has become boring, but it is a show I can let my kids watch with me. If someone wants to criticize another show; more power to them. It's their right. It is also people's right to be removed if they don't like it.

I agree week 2 was better. You're right about RVD, its unfortunate I guess they've decided bill alfonso isn't worthy.
They seem to be having issues not unlike TNA or even the old ECW on TNN, with time --- they have people who in 2 weeks haven't appeared. Where the hell is francine? Jazz of course appeared in that special, but not the first 2 tv shows. (even though that mickie jazz match was terrible --- jazz beat the crap out of her for 5 minutes them mickie pulls a DDT out of her ass and thats apperently enough to put away jazz. BS.)

I disagree since simply its still better than most of RVD WWE promos. I just want them to let RVD loose and stop with the shackles

ECW on the Sc-fi channel??? WTF??? The whole idea's off kilter from square one, like when they had wrestling on MTV. Makes me glad I don't have cable anymore. As much as I didn't want to think it I guess ECW should have stayed dead. And did I actually hear something about John Cena tryin to punk out Sabu? Since when is Cena on Sabu's level? If I had my way I'd put him in a steel cage weapons match with Sabu, Sandman and New Jack just to watch Cena get sliced!

Enough is a phuckin nuff already. It's people like this idiot who have no phuckin clue what they're talking about and get their info from the yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . A psycho wrestling fan that got her feelings hurt when she yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . She wanted to be involved but couldn’t yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . In the wrestling business or anything else that you want to get ahead in, you find a way to get done what you need to succeed. Look at Mickie she would yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... , but she does it because she wants to be there and not blow her chance. A psycho wrestling yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . DWOW is not jealous of ECW or WWE. Granted they have things that we would like to accomplish on day on some level. WEW on the other hand was yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... The ideas and concepts were taken and yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... ... the wrestlers and staff wanted it back. Why you ask? Because even at our worst yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... is way over what WEW tries to put out there and we're just getting restarted. The girls would rather work DWOW than WEW any day! So you don't know what you're talking about when you stated, "hell they could have had what WEW has, and they smoked it like a bong. The high times were good, but they pissed a golden opportunity away." Again, you and others really yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . Please inform me how we pissed a golden opportunity away? I can't wait to hear this. It's funny how you yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... , but you STEAL our phuckin footage daily to use on your free websites and bootleg dvds. I know, but you're supposedly yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . Truth be told you'll steal this concept and many others in your lifetime, but that's okay WE'RE FLATTERED! What exactly do you have going for you yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . If you did know what you were doing you wouldn't be bothering posting here, yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... and me Steve "The Sound Guy" on a daily basis. You know so much, start your own company and yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... that you paid hard earned money to obtain, see how you like it. Finally, we don't send you phuckin 50 emails a day... it's more like 5 on certain days when things are poppin. If you don't like it, unsubscribe! No one is holding a gun to your head. I'm sure you'll be yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... . And I'm sure you'll have something to say after you read this. TYPE AWAY and prepare to LOSE! The Sound Guy yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... yack yack yack yack yack ... zzzz ... zzz ... ZZZZZZ ... zzz .... AHA! I heard this noise. Was somebody cutting a promo?

So comical Mr. Fields all you can say is zzzz zzzzz and not answering any of the questions or my statements. I know you're afraid and deep down inside your wondering what can this guy really do to me, I'm only bootlegging and using footage without GLOOW/DWOW permission. I guess my talk is cheap, but my attorney is not. I'm not gonna put any more stuff out here, but will handle it when it is time. Please don't ask the following question when it does happen... "What did I do to deserve this?" We will see how much of a joke we are. Steve The Sound Guy
