As someone planning on visiting the area for the april 29 show, I'm curious about how people in philly do this. (since there at least appears to be a lack of parking).
Anyway, its around a mile from the nearest subway stop, so at least for getting to the show, I assuming walking that distance is probably alright.
After though is really what I'm wondering about, in the dark and all. Its about half a mile to the nearest bus stop that runs that late (I assume it won't be over till after midnight, somebody can correct me if thats wrong).
So I guess the point is, is there a max exodus to pile onto those buses or what?

Actually there is a huge parking lot right across the street from the arena that you could park your car in. Other then that I would assume it would be a couple of blocks walk to the nearest bus stop.

ok .. I guess I'm surprised. With all the documentaty/behind the scenes footage in an aronud the building I don't remember ever seeing a parking lot, heh.
Are there ever any cabs around after an event?

I don't think so. That part of Philadelphia isn't like NYC where you walk out of somewhere and hail a cab.

Thanks missy. Guess I'll be walking a few blocks to a bus stop.
