That Women's match was f'n horrible! I may only see 1-2 WWE PPV's a year and I have to say everytime I see a Women's match it sucks --PERIOD! Yes, these chicks may be hot, but other than that they have ZERO entertainment value. It seems to be the same exact match everytime out. Sad. Very sad.

Can't disagree but that happens when you put green ass rookies in the ring and Ashley is just that a rookie. Seems WWE forgot about paying dues and earning your PPV matches in the ring instead of the pages of Playboy.

Ashley is an exact rerun of what they did with christy hemme -- of course delayed by a year due to injury.
While melina may be a little more than a rookie, when she was training in OVW it was primarily to be MNMs manager and not a wrestler --- mickie james (obviously) and jillian hall whom they have woefully underutilized (she was a state cheerleading champion of you didn't know) would have both been better choices --- this isn't even mentioning victoria, but she she already was like 2 WMs with trish I guess they figured she has had enough.

Well, the diva contest winners certainly aren't qualified to wrestle.
But the biggest problem is that we've experienced the original G.I.Ho - In SG's case, firsthand - And there ain't NEVER gonna be another woman wrestler like her!

But the biggest problem is that we've experienced the original G.I.Ho - In SG's case, firsthand - And there ain't NEVER gonna be another woman wrestler like her! I'm new here and not from Philly, (even though for some reason my 14 year search for good indy promotions take me to Philadelphia all the time,) but I would say G.I. Ho 1.0 was the Beulah/Francine of her time. I have a feeling that you will only get one or two like her in a generation. However, that said, another one will come along. You just can't A. build everyone up like they are the next one like the WWE did with Sable and Trish Stratus or B. Write EVERYONE else off. Do what I do, watch the matches and watch the girls that impressed you more next time. The WWE has more or less gone the G.L.O.W./W.O.W. route with half-assed pillow fight, lingere, evening gown and very G-Rated "hardcore" matches, (Trish, I am looking directly at you when I say the last one.) Girls can't do anything that is remotely good in terms of wrestling related stuff like bumps or even bladejobs because Vince will lose his deal with Playboy. I will be honest, before I stumbled onto you guys I never saw a women's promotion outside of Japan that I was at all impressed with. I like the combination of different kinds of stuff. The promo's aren't exactly on par with Francine's best stuff in ECW but I can let that go as time goes by because the matches have never been boring. (Or halfassed.) I like the fact that the oil matches are not very frequent because I am looking for more than that but I have to admit, sometimes when a girl loses the top at the end of a match it is awsome. (GI Ho, where have you gone?) I guess I like the anything goes element but wouldn't watch if it was too stripper first/wrestling tenth. Loved the first DVD and enjoying everything I've seen so far!
