Am I the only one that finds this WEW and DWOW merger talk silly? Why would two companies that effectively split only a couple years ago, now re-merge?
Now I agree on the parts about both companies wanting exclusive girls being silly --- but look there are bunches of male feds that use the same talent, yet they manage to present it in their own way.
Besides, with WWE/ECW grabbing up several of the top female indy talents lately (its rumoured more are to come) ... well there may just not be enough talent left to be picky. I'm beggin somebody to give gi ho a big enough wad of cash to get back in. I mean hell it could be a situation like with hogan back in the 80s where she is making more than the rest of the wrestlers on the card put together.

I'm just anxious to see a reality show focused on this company and all the wrestlers in it. That would be friggin awesome!!! You could have it on one of the cable channels because I doubt that the major networks are willing to take the chance on this. How about MTV or one of those other cable networks that almost seems to thrive on programming like this?

Did DWOW do the unthinkable and land a network cable deal? Wouldn't that be special!

How in the world could DWOW get a cable deal without comprimising the integrity of the product. Sound guy you really wanna be censored?
I know I'm not fully aware of all the history, but I'd suggest the reason local philly TV show didn't last forever was the censorship.

I've opined on this subject before. It's a double-edged sword.
You can sign the deal, get some money and even attain an amount of success. But you do sign over your product to the money men (company).
Dave Chappelle recently turned down a FIFTY MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT!! He explained he didn't want to be "owned." I understand completely. That's not to say I'd turn down that deal, but I do understand his reason.
The Sound Guy and co. could earn some nice change if they sign a deal. But will the money men allow him and the others at DWOW to continue to do what they're doing now? And no, I don't mean starve. ;D

Just finished watching a pretty good ECW PPV. I'm even MORE excited now about the upcoming DWOW announcements! It's a very exciting time to be in the wrestling business, as it seems like the cycle has come around again (I hope!).

I guess a better question to pose is... what do YOU want the DWOW announcements to be?

Louie we understand your need to "know", but it is not time yet. However, the time is coming shortly... and the annoucements will be well received I'm sure from the staff (which 95 % of them do not have any clue what is going on), the fans, supporters and possible event the haters (and I'm not talking about the Ho haters). DWOW and WEW were never officially together in business. I guess you could say we had a working relationship and were guilty by association. Never say never, you never know. Funny things have happened like the return of ECW. As for all the male independent companies goes, most all of them that do use the same talent have nothing going on outside their little worlds like NO local / regional / national TV, NO dvd distribution or NO major Pay Per Views. So we definitely don't want to be like them, since they don't make any money. As for the talent raids, I think the best way is to develop new talent from within the company and making our own stars. Yes, it may take a little longer, but it will be well worth the wait. Just some thoughts... MOD.

I'm looking forward to whatever the announcement might be. I say that only for the fact that every time there has been any kind of announcement, it has been a positive thing for DWOW. Yes, even the "DWOW TALENT ON PHILLY RADIO" where the Smoke was featured. Even though the Smoke sucks, it still was positive exposure for the company and puts the company out there for people maybe not aware of this entertaining company. Announcements like the first DWOW show in almost 2 years or how about the dwowvod.com announcement where you can download videos to your pc or how about the other live events, or more recently the MediaZone announcement which will be big for the company so they can do live-as-it-happens pay per views online. So I don't know about you reading this... but I look forward to the upcoming 2 announcements. I'm sure whatever they are will be positive for the development of DWOW.

Wow... Wow... Wow...
I wish I could let this stuff out now! DWOW's future is looking VERY bright right now! I can tell you that we will NOT be on the Sci-fi network! lol
Look for the announcements, both of them, to come in the very near future. Some are even speculating early next week we'll be able to announce it to the general public.
We know however our great news may and probably will cause jealousy amongst other companies and even certain individuals. Don't hate the players... hate the game!
This is a very exciting time for DWOW!
