No press release yet, but I have noticed the deletion of a ton of pages frm the DWOW site. Originally the DWOW site, before today, contained 180 pages, it now only has a fraction of that. I'm not sure if this site is being re-done or not, can't get ANY info right now. -MOD. I can confirm, for now anyway, that the site is not under development and / or nor are there any immediate plans for a new site. The VOD site may stay operational in some capacity. -MOD.

I also got wind today that a pretty detailed letter / press release is being worked on, but may not be released until Monday.
From what I get at this point is DWOW is not dead, so to speak, and there are plans to keep the company viable in certain ways. What ways? Good question.

First, let me say with everything that has been going on here, we all didn't realize that Monday was a holiday.
When I inquired about the statement today, I was told to quote the following...
"After much thought and consideration, we will not be releasing a statement, except for what is about to be said now. We have decided to withhold a statement locking in our immediate future, when to be quite honest and frank, we do not know where tomorrow, the next day, next week or month will lead. We will say that the last year has not gone exactly to plan on certain areas, especially revenue driven areas. We had a few deals that the opposing parties defaulted on certain areas and left us scratching our heads wondering where these deals were going. We released our talent because we don't know what our future is here currently and would like them to work and make some money elsewhere. Anyone who has been following DWOW, especially the staff and persons close to the situation should know or does know the politics and adversity that has been presented to the company since the departure of the original owner. We still have two National DVDs to be released this year, which we hope our fans of old and new will purchase. We're sure there will be some questions and comments, feel free to post them. If anything changes our fans will be the first to know. Thanks for your support and have a great summer!"
And that ladies and gentlemen is what I could get for you on the current situation with DWOW.

All DVDS, except for the national release have been taken off line. Seems there has been a problem with the shipping of DVDS. All DVDS are offline until further notice, while we correct this issue.

OK reaction time.
I believe the short translation is recently ... obvously since that suuperbowl youtube video, the TV deal announced since last october fell through. Without that there was no point to retain the talent for now.
You're hoping to make enough money off the upcoming EDWOW volumes that things can get restarted later.
There is no reason to shutdown the VOD site as long as it is profitable.
I'm sorta surprised at this latest DVD thing, I guess I thought your order volume was small enough your were literally packacing and shipping stuff in-house there.
I'm hoping for a posting any day now about early ordering of EDWOW v2 like there was with v1 factory direct or whatever.
These are of course just by observations and attempts at reading between the lines.

Rumors around OUR office about a NEW DWOW live event early this summer? WTF is going on!!!
More when I get something, than I have now reported. Yes, it could very well be true! And here's a question, what does it all mean about the recent announcement?

As you may or may not have noticed alot of the 2006 roster returned last night, including a few who had worked the last wew show in Philly. In addition, THAI appeared for a segment.
It should also be stated that DWOW wanted to bring Amy Lee back for a run-in at the end of the show, but was denied their request from wew management, which Amy didn't decided not to cross, but others like Smoke, Roxie Cotton, Missy Samsonite and others did.
