Will this mean actual live events, or just new people re-hustling old videos? If it's the latter, who cares??

Very true on your comments, so since all those people are gone there should be no DWOW? As far as I know Sound Guy and Amy are gone from the company and Smoke is working with wew from last I heard. Well I'm willing to give the new ownership a shot to see what they are bringing to the table. I do know the new owner wants the original t&a meets wrestling concept. So that is a bonus. Plus the new owner is bringing back something I think alot of people miss. I mean I missed it. And to be honest you may have to that's why you came and at least peeped the post here. If that is not good enough, you need to lool elsewhere to be entertained. hope to see a show and you at it in the future! -mod

I would love if this company made a full comeback, Brought in a new core of talent and just got back in the business of putting on some entertaining shows. Is it a hard thing? No I don't really think so, There is a place for women's wrestling. If anything, The Shimmer promotion is a perfect example of excellent women's wrestling. Now I don't really expect DWOW to copy the flow of Shimmer but a mix of both traditional womens wrestling and the fun over the top madness that we all really love can definetly work! I wish DWOW the best in this start of a new era and I can't wait to see what happens.

A sign of life and good things to come... is when 270 people have logged on to this site and it's only been 20 hours since the news of DWOW returning appeared on this board. I know 270 may not be alot of people in the terms of the world, but it is a nice start to see people may be interested in DWOW's return.

It's great to hear that DWOW is making a comeback. There are plenty of talented ladies out there, so cobbling together a show should definitely be possible. I'm not sure what the previous owners have been responsible for, but, if they have secured a dedicated new ownership group, then I'm appreciative of their efforts. Hopefully, I'll be attending a show in the not-too-distant future.

It's now 10:55am as I write this from my desk at DWOW hq. I am pretty amazed how quickly things seem to be happening around here. There have been meetings since 9am with various sales people and executives.
In fact, the one meeting that I hope to be allowed to announce the outcome is going on right now and will DEFINTELY put the DWOW right back on the map and get this thing off and running quickly. It is pretty big considering DWOW has been dorminant for the last year or two. IT'S BIG STUFF!

Just 2 days from announcing The Dangerous Women of Wrestling were returning with new ownership, today it has just been announced DWOW has secured a TV deal locally to air in the tri-state area of Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware.
TV! TV! TV!
The Dangerous Women of Wrestling have just completed a meeting that will put them back on TV in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware in the very near future. In addition, the show will also air online weekly, to be replaced with another episode weekly.
I have been told the station viewing information will be released when we deliver the first episode in a few weeks. I was informed that the station was "not cable access."
I have also been told we will not be "hyping" or "promoting" the tv show or anything else until it is ready for air, which will be a few weeks. This is the only post for promoting that DWOW is coming back tv. We will not do what the past regime has done with hyping and not delivering. Rest assured tv is in the immediate future for DWOW.
The new ownership is focused and concerned on making DWOW work and profitable and does not want to get caught up in "hype". This statement was released as a sign of the direction to come for DWOW and wanted to let the fans know that action has been taken, and also realizes there is a lot of work ahead. We will let our actions speak loud and clear.
I'm sure many of you will have questions, but I do not have any answers or statements except which I have just informed you.
I think this news and statement is a surprise and will DEFINITELY jump start the company. Stay tuned! (pun intended)
