Greetings DWOW Fans,
I had not intended to introduce myself on this message board, as I am involved in a competition. I felt that taking liberties and trumpeting my work was unnecessary as the idea was to let the Announcer Idol’s posted videos speak for themselves. However, a fellow Idol has taken liberties and has chosen to sling mud, which was aimed directly at me.
I would like to address the voting, because it appears to be a bone of contention. The fact is I am from the Northeast, more specifically, New York. The Northeast is where ten percent of the entire country’s population resides. I have outlets to encourage people to vote and it is my great fortune that they do. I have been doing what any sensible person in a candidate position would do: I Campaign. I may not have the legions of fans that my outspoken opponent has laid claim to, but I do have supporters. And it is these supporters that I assume are keeping me in the running for this competition. Further, I work at a college. I have access to students, staff and faculty who I have campaigned and who are also lending me their support. I can take no responsibility for my opponents’ vote tally. I can only look to increase my counts through exposure in order to be propelled into the next round of this competition.
I am not going to offer up my professional wrestling background. If the work I submitted is good enough for admission into this competition, then no other accolades need to be listed. Also, I will not answer any other comments made by my opponent. He has made his opinion clear and this has been my rebuttal. This is where is should end and let the vote tallies do the talking until the end of the competition.
In closing, I am not in this competition to partake in low-brow tit-for-tat. I am in it for the love of professional wrestling, my passion for performing as an announcer and most of all my desire to become the voice of Dangerous Women of Wrestling.
Thank you for your time,
Robert R.
