Something I've been wondering about, why was this done?
As far as I know there was no legal reason for the name change IE the similarity in name to the 80s promotion, it was just a decision that was made.
I mean obviously it was impossible to blur out everywhere since it was on some of the wrestlers outfits, and it also wasn't removed on all the ring aprons.
Seems to be with editing just cost money, and for that matter people unfamiliar with the history of the company would probably just wonder why it was done.
Wouldn't have just been more sensible to put in a disclaimer saying the company used to have that name and it was changed?

I don't even think Dave McClane even has the rights to the old G.L.O.W. name anymore. (I believe he lost that when he left the promotion in 1988.)
The total censoring of the name even in the promos looks weird.
