We have reached a milestone here on the DWOW message board as our 1,000 user has just registered!

Lets see if he/she will participate as much as some of the others do. Nothing against you MOD and the few others who regularly post on here but it would be nice to see new people on here offering their two-cents worth.

How many of the 1,000 actually post anything? Most of the winners of the DVDs I have never seen post since I have been here. And it might be a good move for you to allow people to view the board without having to register and join first. I know it took a while for my account to get approved and a lot of people wouldn't have bothered registering and just moved on. You might get more traffic and members if you loosen up the security and let internet surfers read the board. Once more people see it they might take the time to join if they want to post. What's so top secret about this place?

What's so top secret about this place? it's a secret! if we told, it wouldn't be a secret, now would it? but i do agree the board should be opened up to read without registering. it probably would generate some more interest if poeple could check out what they were signing up for beforehand. just my $.02. congrats on 1000!

What's so top secret about this place? FYI... We required membership as a marketing tool by gathering emails to send out updates to targeted individuals interested in the company. MOD.

Well then another option would be to have a quick instant register process. Or a large link in one of the top corners that says enter your e-mail address to receive updates. I am glad that you decided to take my advice and allow people to read the board without registering. I think it will pay off for you in the long run since you are getting easier exposure that way. Good luck
