It is with great regret that I inform you that www.dangerouswomenofwrestling.com will be basically closed down and will not feature any new information. Not that it has recently, but we know there was hope especially when a live show was ran on August 31, 2007. You may be happy to know that The Dangerous Women of Wrestling message board will remain here and news tidbits may drop through occasionally. And The Dangerous Women of Wrestling MySpace account will remain open also. The changes we feared back a few months ago, look as though they are finally taking shape. There is some speculation about why things are happening and what is gong on surrounding the company. All I can say is in due time everyone may be privileged to that information as Dan Kowal and Steve O'Neill have sat down six times in the last few months and recorded 30 hours of footage on a documentary of GLOOW / DWOW / WEW and their Women's Wrestling visions. I have been privileged enough to view some of it and all I can say is WOW!!! Some people may call it a "shoot" interview, but in reality it is just a documentary and the truth coming from the creators of this vision. I would go on record saying that everything you would possibly want to know about this company from the beginning, until the end has been said on this documentary. When will it be done? When will it be available? Who knows, but The Sound Guy for sure, as he has taken on this project as a hobby and will finish whenever, if ever, he is ready. Will this project be released? Only he can answer that also. I can tell you that it most likely won't be on Big Vision. His vision for the project is very in depth and could be very time consuming, as he has taken on other responsibilities outside the business of wrestling and is not committing to the project on a full-time basis. I can tell you that it started out to be produced as a two hour documentary. Immediately after the first shoot, those plans changed. There was then talk about a 13 week series. After awhile the project was downgraded to a "hobby" project, mainly because of the hours of shooting and editing still left to complete the vision. Hopefully one day he will share this with the world. In the meantime, look out for The Sound Guy's autobiography! Yes, you read it right! I've also read a few pages from the book and it is VERY interesting. That is all for now. -Mod.

Welp one would have thought the apparent success of that live show would have helped. You were just talking about releasing like very event ever on DVD ...
I hope you're not losing your job mod.
Its sad to an extent though ... not entirely surprising since IMHO you haven't been doing everything possible to endeer yourselves to the fans lately.

I may be the only one posting, but I'm certainly not the only one who cares ... all 36 page views aren't me, heh. That's right Pail cares too! lol my bad. Look I totally understand why things are where they are today. Like Mod said, plans have not gone as planned. --period For what you and others probably don't realize is that I --along with the help of the mod have kept DWOW on life supply since 2004, when DWOW disbanded, mainly here and a little on the main site. Why? Because at the time no one knew what exactly would be the future of DWOW and it was thought it would be easier to crank things and get things rolling faster than if the site and everything surrounding the company disappeared. So for three years I and DWOW have been in limbo, but have planned to break out eventually. We did start, but had to re-organize due to things out of our control. The time has not come to execute the plan due to several reasons which will not be discussed here and now. I know everyone knows me here. People think I'm an asshole. I can be and have known to be an asshole, but I do what I DO AND WANT for the better of the company (most of the time and one GI Ho dvd doesn't mean shit for the record). As for others who disagree with me, that's okay, that's what makes the world go round. But again like I've stated previously, I HAVE (like it or not, accept it or live in denial) had a hand in creating, forming, characters, storylines, radio and tv productions, marketing, coordination and execution of live events (and their promotion and marketing too, including handing out fliers and posterboards MYSELF) and every other facet of running this company. This goes for GLOOW, WEW (whether Bagarozy will ever admit, I don't care I know and Dan Kowal know, shit I have the paperwork, cd backups and much other stuff still in my possession), and DWOW. I hope one day to finish the documentary I have started. I didn't shoot six times for 30 hours with Dan Kowal for just purely fun. It is a TELL-ALL story, told very candid about EVERYTHING that has happened since our meeting back in 1998 to current. Let me leave you with this. If GLOOW had the proper money and management behind it, we wouldn't be where we are at today, but far passed it. Also, ponder this... Remember GLOOW / DWOW TV back in 2001 & 2002. If that material ever made it on a Nationally level, we would've been too controversial. I looked the "Extremely Dangerous Women of Wrestling" dvd and people may think that what we did was "not that impressive, creative, or whatever". One thing people fail to realize is that footage is from 2000, 2001, and 2002 mostly --not 2007! We are talking 5-6-7 years ago, we were ahead of our time for the product we delivered. Enough. Buy the documentary if it ever gets released. lol Steve The Sound Guy

Ahh the sensible non-raving lunatic, a bit less of an asshole steve comes out.
Well this is good. You know what like I said, you do deserve all the credit in the world for what you've already done, and I have no doubt you're right if you had more money you could have done more ... you're also right national distrubition back in the day would have been hard, though I think it probably could have managed being on in the middle of the night on sunshine network or something like ECW was back in the day, and WEW is now.
That being said, the entire evolution of the ho volume 2 issue --- refusing to sell me one even if I pay extra, which should be any problem since you own all the content, doesn't make a damn bit of sense but --- hey if you want to not make money I suppose its up to you but, you have to understand it would make me (and likely some less vocal others) upset.

I don't like that news much.
However I would like to say, thanks for your effort, it was usually one of the most fun promotions I have worked for.
I hope at some point DWOW does continue, but I know its a hard business to put your money into and make profitable for all.
Thanks for trying... and creating some of the most bizarre moments in wrestling I have ever been involved in.

One other question I forgot to ask. Assuming you're not going to sell that DVD to me or anyone else directly no matter what I offer to pay, will highspots be selling it?

One other question I forgot to ask. Assuming you're not going to sell that DVD to me or anyone else directly no matter what I offer to pay, will highspots be selling it? No. No one will. In fact, keep in mind that the licensing deals with Highspots and Ringdivas eventually expire also. And no, I don't know when. Will you ever be able to score that DVD or others, probably eventually, just not now. SG

Steve I tell you what. Saying nobody can have this DVD now, not individuals, not even your licensed resellers is well ... pretty damn weird. It'd make more sense if you said there is some legal reason why you can't sell it anymore and you have destroyed all copies of it. However instead ... much like mod said when I first started asking about it you basically say you will sell it again sometime, somewhere. Ah well for all I know you are just trying to build up the anticipation and you will put it up for $500 somewhere and hope somebody buys it. I mean crap you could put it on ebay for $200 opening bid or something. Oh well. (I mention that number because thats about the most I could possible pay for it right now )
