And people call me negative. If you're talking about evolution of the ho volume 2 I'll be happy to stop bitched about it when I get a copy. "...I'll be happy to stop bitched..." TurboDood, are you that screwed up that you can't even use common sense in your grammar? You yourself, should be "bitch slapped!" I hope your ass is at the show tonight... Bob

I'm quite surprised that, the day after your first show, the board isn't lighting up. I was there last night and thought it want over wll. Pretty surprised at the number in attendance as well. I've been to most of the WEW shows in the past and found the crowd to be more diverse than the crowed that attended their shows. There were a lot of women in attendance and, believe it or not, a group of "Older" women as well who really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Lil Sassy Cassie rocked the place. Seemed like everyone enjoyed her.
Probably the biggest surprise, for me anyway, was the lack of a huge "Pop" for GI Ho. Frankly, where I was sitting, I never saw her face so I wasn't sure, but assumed, it was her.
Congrats, guys and gals. I thought it want over well.

So I log in this evening to see all the chatter about the show that took place 2 nights ago. The first show in years I may add. And what do I see.....nothing, nada, zilch.
Did none of you so called fans not show up? All the "when, where, etc, and nothing from you clowns? And what about the mod and SG? WTF are you two idiots? Did you two go all in on a bluff? This is a dissapointment to me from all sides of the spectrum.
Let's talk about the show itself. The doors opened up just shy of 7:30 even though it was advertised to open at 7pm sharp. Then almost 45 minutes of stripper music filled the arena being played extremely loud. Then a promo ran that was about 12 minutes long recapping the last event in the ecw arena years ago(the last show I believe) where Liz Savage broke her ankles.
The ring announcer finally comes out screaming and hollering trying to whip the crowd back up. I feel alot was lost the 45 minutes or so we sat there waiting for the action to begin. He tried, but I am not sure this was an entirely DWoW fan base, as I saw alot of people getting in for free, so I assume many didn't know much of what was going on.
Summie v Roxxie opened the show, and it was a pretty decent match. A couple of missed spots and the timing was off a bit, but overall, not bad for a curtain jerker. Roxxie got the duke.
Then I think SG came out. He was running his mouth trying to get some heat(hard to have heat from the start when you have to explain who the hell you are) by arguing with the audiance. Couldn't hear him though for I fear the mic was set to screaming announcer dudes tone and pitch. Small video package of all the woman beating he has done over the years. One of the fgirls was at ringside and came in the ring, ran him down a bit, then I guess her BF jumped in and superkicked the snot out of SG. It looked a bit stiff to me, but who cares, SG is a punk who runs his gums and beats on women.
Then it just gets a bit weird. Inbreads/hippies/gay homos/fat french girl and liz/strippers/cat fight(30 seconds of chhicks flailing around before it was over/fat refs/gay refs/a cripple who claimed to be the boss/a fail version of a pimp/midget stripper who looked like a cross between a chimp and a poodle/more screaming announcer dude(who begged the state athletic comish to let them run the hot oil match). All that was missing was a Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! chant. THe smoke and Amy Lee had a little scuffle(the smoke looked like he gained 225 lbs since the last time I saw him, (maybe he ate the rock)) Amy looked good, but may have had a bit of ring rust.
Annie Socail and Mia Yim was an excelent match. Great work, stiff spots, good timing, with Mia getting the victory.
The Penthouse Strippers where there and killed about 10 minutes or so with bad dancing, sloppy lesbo make out sesions, and overall whorish ways. Now don't get me wrong, I love me a good ho, but these chicks were either A) drunk as phuck, or B) high and phuck, either one, it made for a sloppy spot.
Missy came out screaming and hollering as she normally does(great mic work btw Missy). She tore into Candi for noshowing because she is probably a dirty phucking skank, but only you ppl know that, I'm just going out on a limb. She beat up a cripple guy. Zach Gowen made a run in and had a pretty decent bout against Missy. SG and Smoke got done sucking each other off just in time to run interference(they sucked though, probably too much man goo in their eyes or some shiz)Phags! Chaos insued and the lights went out. Some overweight chick in fatigues appeared in the ring with a steel chair, held a pose for about 3 minutes before SG and Smoke decided to stop gazzing in each others eyes and notice her. They made a move, the lights went back out, and the fat girl in fatigues was gone. I assume that was G.I Hoe. Somehow Zach was able to pin Missy, even though she whooped his ass before the mayhem began.
Screaming announcer guy came back in the ring and said brief intermission while they set up for the hot oil stripper match. This is where the wife and I left.
I'll give the show 3 out of 5 stars. Overall it was pretty good, but it just felt like it was a bit all over the place by trying to recap what happened years ago and run with it like it happened last week. I hope there will be more shows I can spend mor emoney at, just because I like womens wrestling. I hope you didn;t go all in and come up with Aces over eights though. By you guys not saying anything the last two days makes me fear you may have, but I hold my breath like I did for 4 years, and hope more is to come.
Good luck, and thank you for an entertaining Thursday Night.

Thanks Walt for providing some details on the show. I am shocked that there is no discussion on this board. I would love some more details on what seems to be the best match of the night, Mia Yim and Annie Social. I guess Mia won with a dragon sleeper, but since I was not there, I'd like to hear about some of the top spots in that match. If you want to follow Mia Yim's career, check out my Mia Yim Fan blog blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=516613799Any news on SDR's match? Falcon

Falcon, See Walt's critique re: Sumi vs. Roxxie. SDR wrestled that match vs. Sumi.

Thanks. Unusual for two pros like Sara and Sumie to miss spots. That is certainly not a good omen. Can't believe they began with Sara. After the big news of her signing, I would have thought they would build to her match in the middle or end of the show. Falcon

Figured they wanted to open the show with a bang. But I don't think they followed it up real well. Would have liked to see Liz vs. Missy instead of using Liz in a cluster mess.

For the record I did NOT lose to Zach Gowen!! I pinned Zach in the middle of the ring before all that nonsense started! The pinfall he got on me was well after the match was over and only because I became distracted by the owners of the arena's inability to pay their electric bill and keep the damn lights on!
As for Candie not showing up, your guess is as good as mine. However I'm sick and tired of being ducked! DWOW management had better do something fast to ensure I get the proper title shot I deserve!
At least as your new Woman's Champion you can rest assured I'd show up to defend my belt!

I was there and I don't like saying to other wrestling fans that I would have done this show differently. Annie Social & Mia Yim was excellent but the rest of the match sucked.

Will there be any photos or video of the May 27 "All In" event? I'd certainly like to see the Annie Social vs Mia Yim match! Falcon

Before everyone goes jumping off the bridge, calm down and take a breath. Again things are not always what they seem. Have fun dissecting the show, and saying what you will --hey that's what's it about this message board thing. In due time, things MAY or may not be explained in detail when and if needed. Until then rain on with the idle chatter. Running a live show as just that is easy, but when you are trying to obtain certain things for other areas for production in tough for anyone.
We are very busy with a plethora of meetings and discussions that came from the show. This is and was not just a typical show. More info to come --WHEN we can release it. Until then have some patience, and the site and stuff will be updated this week.
It was cool to see A LOT of new faces in the crowd --defintely a whole new wave of people that came to see DWOW. A refreshing change.
Thanks!
