So are there going to be event pics from the show? Some kind of wrap up / review / preview will be up this week I was just told. PICTURES to be included! AGAIN, the show was a SHOW --we need to capture certain things for projects we are in the midst of. I can tell you we captured what we wanted and needed. Were there rough spots in the show? Sure it's been 3 years since the people ran a show --and a show of this size on such a short staffed --overall was a success on what needed to be accomplished. All who were involved gave it a go, and we will all see what happens in due time. We have some loose ends that we are wrapping up for the show. The future does look bright. Just gotta wear sunblock right now! More to come. Enjoy the weather! mod

I'm still working on the photos I took at the show, but from the ones I have done so far, I'm posting photos as Babes of the Day - and a few Hunks of the Day - on my website starting tomorrow, Tuesday 6/8 with Sumie Sakai. www.ProWrestlingDigest.comScroll down the page to see the Babe & Hunk of the Day. When I finish the photos, I'm going to post an article with a photo gallery.

Now that I have the chance to sit down and type my thoughts of the May 27th show, here they are:
The show did not start "on time." But I fully understand after a three year hiatus, things will not go according to schedule.
Seeing Sound Guy get super kicked, was funny as Hell! Maybe it knocked some sense in to his ass!
The matches themselves, were ok. Miss ques and shaking the cobwebs; understandable.
The ring announcer was trying to do his job, but seemed lack luster about it. The gimmick of him toying and begging with the supposed State Gaming Commissioner about the oil wrestling matches, was able to be seen right through.
I forget who it was that had gotten whacked with the guitar. But at least I know now, what is put in to the body of the guitar, to make it smoky when someone is struck with it. The content is baby powder.
It was nice to see Pryme Tyme Amie Lee as a Babyface and have a brief bought with The Smoke.
The oil wrestling matches, weren't really wrestling. It looked more like two girls unsuccessfully trying to tribble each other.
The guys in the red hats... phuckin' idiots! What a bunch of posers trying to look cool!
The highlight of the night was Sassy Cassie! Cassie stole the show!

So, the return of G.I. was not a big deal? You didn't even mention her.

The pics I posted were because they were the only ones I could find where you could see the tatoo on the original ho's shoulder.
The one that appeared at the show was wearing camoflage pants, and a black sleeveless shirt, which just happened to have a similar tatoo on that shoulder.
It was a girl from the penthouse club, I saw her later. The outfit was to cover all the other tats she had besides the shoulder one.
Sg's usually antics and the annie social matches were all I found interesting. Way too many guys wrestling, and that little freak, WTF.
What was with the WEW banner on the ceiling ... well it fit percectly because PPV angle and all (the same providers) it seems like thats what things are turning into at least the arena.
One thing about steve's rant. Why did he start the show, showing awesome crap like a girl in a thong getting powerbombed through a table --- to remind us what we weren't seeing that night?
This show should have been AT the penthouse club, not proting it. I discourage the use of the arena as a future DWOW venue. It just isn't up to the task anymore.

I'm not going to get into much --yet, as I am under specific orders to retain any comments for now --until next week. BUT I can say this... GI HO, or the girl playing or whoever --cause frankly I don't know I didn't see her, BUT it looked like her (with a few pounds) was NOT at THE PENTHOUSE CLUB period! Whomever you saw or talked to was NOT in that part of the show you speak of --HONEST! mod

Mod I won't claim to be 100% sure I'm only saying what I perceived.
That sort of confusion had to be expected though the way she, whoever she was, was used.
I would suggest posting a clip of just this part of the show.
Or some super hi-res still photos maybe.

I am telling you because I was waiting at the door all night LOOKING and waiting to interview her, but that NEVER happened! mod

Mod,
Which door were you waiting by? I hope you know that there are other doors to the arena... The woman that was G. I. Ho for the night, could have come in a different door, than what you were standing at. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My thought on the woman that was in the ring in the G. I. Ho clothing: I can not be positive if it was the original G. I. Ho, The Rezz as G. I. Ho, or a Penthouse Girl. I was in the V. I. P. Section and it is too far up and too far away, for a positive identification.

I was backstage before & after the show taking photos, & I never got to see GI Ho up close because she didn't get there until after the show had started, & she left for home as soon as her match was over, so I am sure she was not at the after party.

I want to preface (start) with a statement mod made previously... "we are not able to disclose everything about what we are doing, planning or working on. Plus wasn't it someone here before saying we shouldn't post things unless it is 100% definite --no matter what it was? "
So to start stop whining. What we DWOW are embarking on right now is not the typical indie wrestling company experience. Understand what we have started, and accomplished --more than the others out there running on a more regular basis. I put up results, now WE are going to do some pretty incredible stuff with our style of entertainment right in front of your eyes.
Oh yea and WE DON'T ANSWER TO YOU! Remember that.
Part 2 coming... SG

FIRST AND FOREMOST... THE SHOW ACTUALLY HAPPENED!!!
On the prediction of sell out... well that didn't happen and we knew going in that with the Memorial Day weekend that week we were either gonna hit with all the economic bs going on, or miss it --which we did since it was the biggest holiday shore weekend in the last decade. However, we were happy to see people in the building, and ALOT of new face and ALOT of women in the show --older and younger. Interesting!
Lil Sassy Cassie STOLE the show in my books! 2 feet 10 inches stripper! AND Zach Gowen!!! Are you fn kidding me!
No video or DVD is expected of this show for sometime as the PPV operators have first dibs on airing it. Again we are not talking internet ppv, we are talking REAL tv/cable/sat/etc... Deal with it! Again we are not doing typical indie shit here.
BTW, there are and were ALOT of underlying cryptic messages before, during, and after the show. If you are smart you will catch on and read between the lines.
It's amazing to me how NO ONE is ever happy. You have the straight women's wrestling fans --which I don't care for cause they take life to seriously, then you have the strict perv --which I don't care for all the way. Hey rocket scientist! Dangerous Women of Wrestling a little of this and little of that. Women's wrestling, sexy, t&a, big, fat, small, white, black, Hispanic, midget, cripple, whatever IT'S ALL IN THERE! Do you get it yet???
Turbodood, with all due respect, IF you had the money to run this company we would welcome it, because as big as a ball breaker as you are, some of your ideas are good --BUT THEY COST MONEY which someone will have to pay for --the fans. Then they would complain about price of this or that. Oh sheet! Wait you already do both! lol
More coming... typing as you read this!
