I have just received word that this message board will be closing in by the beginning of 2007. There are ALOT of things going on here both good and bad.

That is not good news at all. Does this mean the site is shutting down or just the Message Board?

Wowsers. It sounds like the vibes you've been putting out that just the store is shutting down have been incorrectly perceived.
On the one hand it could just be the bandwidth expense of this board --- but frankly it can't be that much and in fact I wouldn't be surrpised if it could be put on some free hosting site without going over a bandwidth limit.
All I can say is I wish you would enlighten this on what the good you are talking about is mod. It almost seems to me to imply some sort of merger ...
I suppose I should point out a new website was alrady announced --- but why scrap the message board. Other than a merger, maybe this has to do with the TV deal, and whoever is putting it on TV is going to host a new site and forum?

I will know more things later before we break for the holidays and I will share my findings with everyone here as soon as I have something noteworthy.

ProBoards (what this is hosted on) is free. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you'll see: This Board Hosted For FREE By ProBoards Get Your Own Free Message Board!

You're right. To that end it may be my other thought there is some legal/contactual reason for it to shutdown, assuming this hole proboard site isn't closing down.
