Hey, I was drawn here by the contest like I'm sure many of you were, but I actually have a legit question. Is there a tv show on syndication for DWOW? I seem to remember one on the Sunshine Network, but it was at like 2 or 3 am on Saturdays. Any help would be appreciated.

The majority of them were under the company name banner gloow. Alot of tape traders have them floating around on the internet. One has to wonder why they are not on DVD now? MOD.

Yeah, I would love to see some of those old shows. I only got to catch a few of them, all under the GLOOW name, but they were great!

Thanks for the info MOD. That would be cool if they did put a DVD together of all those shows. It would make an awesome set.

On tv was the only time that I was able to see anything from gloow. Haven't seen anything new because I am overseas. I would definately like to see more when I go home though.

I've got most of the shows on tape and I love putting them into my VCR and watching them over and over again. They were put together perfectly, unlike that crappy WEW promotion, and they were very entertaining and kept up with storylines. I must say my favorite shows were from October 2002. Once November hit, they were promoting Hovember too much so it got boring, but just a little. I'm very surprised the official DWOW hasn't put them on DVD yet. I thought I heard something that they were but there hasn't been anything released.
Perhaps I'll start converting them.

Why exactly was there a name change from GLOOW to DWOW?

Why exactly was there a name change from GLOOW to DWOW? I don't know for sure, but I would say to give the company a little more legitimacy. They got away from the "outrageous" part and started focusing more on the wrestling. Don't get me wrong...DWOW was/is still the hottest, sexiest wrestling event you will ever see!

I was told that the ALL the TV shows will be digitally remastered and put out on DVD, not "converted". So the quality will be better. MOD.

There might have been some friction (copyright issues) from the original GLOW. GLOOW just sounded and looked too much like GLOW.
Or, maybe they never really were "Gorgeous Ladies" but instead they were "Dangerous Women." ;D
