What has become –or is to become to The Dangerous Women of Wrestling has been the burning question of the last few years. If you knew the complete story of the Dangerous Women of Wrestling staff and company it is intriguing, enlightening, and entertaining, even to those who are not interested in Women’s professional wrestling. About two years ago Steve “The Sound Guy” O’Neill started to produce, his labor of love if you will, –the documentary of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling from the beginnings in 1999 up to the present as it was in 2007. Anyone who really knows the Sound Guy knows that he really loved the company and what he did to make it all come together. SG and his former partner Dan Kowal sat down and filmed over 33 hours for the documentary and they discussed everything as nothing was held back. The shot of SG and Kowal side-by-side was classic, as you could see their reactions to the questions, and each responses. Plans are to eventually contact the main players of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling for their interview and side to the story. The documentary is some time off from being completed, as the reasoning behind it does make sense in the long run --as it has a beginning, middle, and end. What we can tell you is that it won’t be some two hour DVD, but something on a much grander scale.
With that being said, we are happy to announce and let it be known that Steve “The Sound Guy” is once again an integral part of the Dangerous Women of Wrestling behind the scenes operation, as he single handedly operated this organization in every facet, and kept it on life support for so many years in the hopes one day he could fulfill his dream and vision for The Dangerous Women of Wrestling. On December 25th 2007 Steve “The Sound Guy” O’Neill left D.W.O.W and sold his interest in the company. On July 4th, 2009 Steve “The Sound Guy” O’Neill has officially returned to The Dangerous Women of Wrestling as a hired gun, and to fulfill his dream and bring Dangerous Women of Wrestling to a National TV audience. Steve has begun preparing “The Dangerous Women of Wrestling Encore Presentations” for broadcast in the tri-state region of Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware.
In addition and to answer questions of who is running the company and who the new owner is, I answer you this… I have remained anonymous (and will continue to be anonymous for the time being) so that the transition and company politics would go without prejudice in concerns to who I am, and what I’ve done. I will continue to remain anonymous until the time is right for my public arrival.
We are once again excited about the future of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling.
