These are the official DWOW results from the Celebrity Wrestling show that took place Friday, May 7th at The Pennant East in Bellmawr, NJ.
-Missy Samsponite w/Annie Social defeated Sumie Sakai
-The Punky Bruisers (Roxxie Cotton & Marti Belle) vs Mia Yim & Annie Social was ruled a no contest when Annie and Mia got into an argument. Mia shoved Annie which then Missy Sampsonite came to Annie's aid. In turn, brought out Sumie Saki which led to referee to call for an impromptu battle royal when a body part touches the floor. What looked to have Roxxie Cotton winning this, soon changed as Jennie Jen from the Rad Girls (from the female version of Jackass TV show came out) came out and disposed of Roxxie Cotton to have Jennie Jen winning the Battle Royal.
Michelle Bombshell and Gina Lynn had an entertaining bout with the over sized boxing gloves and head gear. It originally ended as a draw, stopped, restarted and I am pretty sure it officially ended as a draw.
There were some other men's wrestling matches on the show featuring Cory Kastle, Ron Starr, Shaka, Dr Ruthless, Billy Reil, Noah (ref), and some others too.
The Dangerous Women of Wrestling looked hot and READY to return to action as they gear up for the DWOW major marquee event Thursday, May 27th at THE ARENA (ecw arena) in South Philly.

I was thrilled to see the personnel in the battle royal, though I think I would have preferred to see the tag match. The meltdown of Mia Yim/Annie Social made sense because it played on their long-running feud in JAPW. But please tell me why it was necessary to bring a Rad Girl in at the end to win it all? That makes no sense and cheapens the work that the wrestlers did. I'm a huge Mia Yim fan and I hope to see her back in DWOW -- as long as she's allowed to wrestle. Check out my blog on Mia Yim blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=516613799Will photos of the May 7 event be posted here or on the DWOW website, or is there another location to find photos? I was under the impression that Michelle Bombshell won the main event. She walked away with the title belt, at any rate.
I'd welcome seeing any of these DWOW ladies at the next show. The low ceiling at this event probably hurt the usually high-flying Sumie the most. The lack of aerial possibilities definitely played right into the mat-based Missy Samsonite's plans.
This was the first time I had seen Mia Yim wrestle in person and I liked what I saw (who wouldn't?).
From an advertising point of view, it was a little tough for Marti Belle. She was the only DWOW performer not listed in the pre-show ads. All the other DWOW girls were named and Marti ended up being relegated to the "and more" category.
I agree that Jen from the Rad Girls winning the Battle Royale was not the best (although an understandable) decision. If she participates in a female version of the JACKASS show, it would have made more sense to have her appear to be in a position to win only to have her get unceremoniously dumped at the last moment. After all, the guys from JACKASS weren't necessarily known for being victorious. She is a lovely girl, nonetheless.
All in all, this seemed to be a good format to promote the return of DWOW.

Will there be photos posted from the May 7 event? When and Where? Sorry I thought I got to respond to this already. As for pictures we don't know. We were under orders from the Celebrity (promoter) no video or cameras allowed during show. We followed the rules, believe that? lol we did snap a bunch before showtime and will post them when we get them from the staff photographer. Supposedly from what we were told they were going to be selling the pictures to the tabloids, as they were working on cutting a deal with one of the larger National mags / websites. Trust us we DID lobby heavily and even tried to sweeten the pot, but no go. mod

Thanks for the response. Those venue restrictions are tough criterion under which to operate; especially if you have a website and want to keep fans up to speed on your promotion. Certainly the preshow pics will be better than nothing. i will keeplooking for those. Falcon
